Putnam's Waterview Restaurant

Chowder was to runny for me and not hot, otherwise good. Fried seafood platter was great. Great portions of each. Fries were under cooked. I usually only eat a few fries anyway.

I came here with some of my family the other week for an early dinner and there was plenty of seating so we were able to sit outside. Our waitress was very friendly and our food was brought out in a reasonable time. All of our dishes were quite delicious and the desserts were up to par too! I’ve loved coming here over the years and it certainly is a local staple.

Putnam's is a great family restaurant. They have outside and inside dining, we chose outside since the weather was beautiful that day. Our server was Mia and she was truly a delight to work with. The food was fantastic and we ordered from the nightly specials. My wife ordered the Taco Supreme Soup and it was rich, creamy and flavorful. I chose the shrimp cocktail and they were huge shrimp. For the dinner my wife chose the Prime Rib Scampi which consists of a slice of prime rib topped with shrimp in a white wine butter sauce. I chose the Italian Combo which consisted of stuffed shells and chicken parmesan over linguini, topped with a homemade marinara sauce. The marinara sauce seemed a little too sweet. I'm not used to that as I don't put sugar in my homemade marinara sauce, but it was still great. In fact, the entire meal was fantastic. I highly recommend Putnam's for their food, the atmosphere and their service.

Putnam’s is an overall fabulous restaurant. We have dined at Putnam’s a handful of times and each experience has earned a 5-star rating. Their menu is quite extensive offering appetizers, soups & salads, burgers & sandwiches, pasta, seafood and even daily specials. Today, we ordered the SW Egg-rolls appetizer (a lunch special), Turkey Club, Baked Seafood Sampler, and Fried Sea Scallops. All of which were reasonably priced, high quality food product, and oh quite tasty! Delicious. I will return to Putnam’s specifically for their Baked Seafood Sampler next time I have a lobster & scallop craving. I think we all can agree a restaurant’s staff can make or break a dining experience. Everyone here is pleasant, courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. I feel comfortable dining here with our family, everyone is so welcoming. They even have a diaper changing station with a mattress pad in the Ladies restroom which earns them bonus stars, in my opinion. Looking forward to our next visit back, keep up the outstanding service & food!

Visited for the first time on Saturday. Cute little place .Decent food and portions . We both had Haddock Ruebens good size and cooked well .Onion Rings really delicious. Service was the poor part waitress was almost non existent. Never checked in to see how food was which meant if you needed something which I did twice you were waiting and waiting. The food would bring us back but not the service.

Great, great place to make a pit stop when you're in the area! Parking in the rear or on the street; it's up to you! We were seated right upon entrance and welcomed with smiles! Courtney took fantastic care of us from beginning till when we walked out! The menu has plenty of options to choose from. The food portions are very well sized. Food was delicious! Very pleased with this place. And don't forget to catch a view of the river nearby!
